Packaging Prototype
The objective of this project was to design and create a physical prototype of a packaging solution for a commercial product of my choice. I chose to focus on rebranding the packaging for Anine Bing, a contemporary fashion brand known for its blend of Scandinavian minimalism and American energy. The aim was
to design packaging that embodies the brand’s simple yet bold aesthetic while enhancing the unboxing experience for the consumer.
I began with rough sketches and physical prototypes to explore different design forms, experimenting with various card materials and cutting methods with
a laser cutter. I chose a design featuring a sleek matte exterior paired with a vibrant orange interior, subtle branding, and a sturdy satchel structure. Mindful design elements such as the ribbon handle that secures the opening, provided added convenience for carrying and storage, making the packaging both practical and elegant.
