Type Specimen Poster
The brief was to select a typeface with historical significance and design an original A3-sized type specimen poster. The poster should effectively showcase the typeface’s unique characteristics and design features, demonstrating an understanding of its history and visual appeal. The concept behind my Type Specimen Poster is based on the typeface Bauhaus. I chose to use a historical and recognizable typeface like Bauhaus due to its distinctive design elements.
I was influenced by how a Bauhaus poster is effective in incorporating bold, geometric shapes, clean typography and a strong minimalist layout. These design elements aim to highlight the typeface’s structural characteristics and connect to the influential Bauhaus movement, making the poster both visually engaging and educational.
Campaign Poster
I designed this poster for a project called The Life of a CBRn, a campaign aimed at connecting the general public of Canberra and surrounding regions with
the research emerging from the University of Canberra. The campaign aimed to be showcased as a large visual installation in public spaces across the
city during the busy Christmas season of 2024. It seeks to engage and inform residents through strong visuals, dynamic text layout and patterning, creating a captivating and informative design.
